Does family shape one's identity?
Family in many ways shapes peoples’ lives, it shapes who they are, how they act, and their values, and especially on their identity. Your identity is the only thing you have to show the world who you really are. But, where does one’s identity come from? Your identity comes from your family. Your family shapes who you are from the moment of birth till until the age of eighteen, and even then they can still shape who you are no matter what age, but those first eighteen years of your life are what they shape your identity. What and how you believe, what your values are, etc, all of these are some of the things that our family can shape our identity. But how does family shape one’s identity or more important why does it shape one’s identity?

I agree with your point completely. you have a good strong point, that you have to show people who you are. I also agree that your family plays a large part in shaping your identity. i also agree that your family can influence you no matter what age you are. good points.
ReplyDeleteI truly agree that family contributes a lot in developing the values, beliefs, character etc. that shapes the identity. And basically, what you do is what you have learned and acquired from them.I hope you find answer to the why and the what questions. That's a broad topic. Nice!
